To achieve this, the gallery planned to migrate its existing websites, SaatchiGallery.com and SaatchiStore.com, to WordPress. Our challenges were based on the delivery of some diverse WordPress web development functionalities. These would help streamline operations. Our initial work was just for the gallery website. This required a comprehensive online platform. It needed to accommodate membership management, ticket sales, donations, and event management, amongst others. The WordPress website needed to provide different access levels for patrons, exhibitors, artists, and staff. Each of these needed specific permissions and functionalities. We implemented a robust membership management and ticketing system. It now has both online and mobile check-in capabilities. Staff can now create, schedule, and visualise exhibitions with corresponding actions and visibility settings. Social media was integrated with multiple social media platforms for content sharing and direct sales. A drag-and-drop newsletter module with compatibility for external SMTP servers was also developed. CRM and accounts integration ensures seamless data flows between systems.
