Once the pride and joy of the Tate and Bouverie families, Delapré Abbey is Northampton’s hidden treasure, alive with the possibilities of the present and surrounded by the echoes of the past. Within the walls, past occupants have witnessed battles, royalty, bankruptcy and revival. Threatened with destruction many times during its 900-year history, Delapré Abbey has managed to survive and has recently been part restored with a £3.65 million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
A hidden gem kept under wraps for over 900 years, Delapré Abbey is now a venue enjoyed for all occasions, offering many rooms ranging from an intimate event for 5 people to a large wedding celebration for 200.
Delapre Abbey approached GWCM, due to our vast creative marketing experience. For the past 23 years we have been designing and producing compelling branding, advertising, websites and videos that get brands noticed, talked about and remembered.
Our brief was to design a new brochure to promote venue hire at Northampton’s newest visitor attraction targeting group bookings for team building events, conferences, country pursuits and activities and also the afternoon teas. Stunning and inspirational photography was commissioned and used throughout the brochure design to portray the stunning historic Grade II listed, opulence of the location and facilities.
