Bowland Brewery sought a fresh perspective for designing a new range of seasonal beer pump clips. Bowland Brewery was established in 2003 in a small milking parlour in a quaint Lancashire village. In 2015, the brewery relocated to Holmes Mill in Clitheroe, Lancashire. It now houses an award-winning tap house. Known for outstanding ales, it also has one of the longest bars in the UK, featuring 42 cask hand pull ales and 24 taps.

The brewery continues to expand while maintaining its commitment to quality. Our team embarked on competitive research to ensure our beer pump clip designs were distinct from other local breweries. Our creatives explored various pump clip styles and themes. Drawing inspiration from the brewery's location beneath the iconic chimney at Holmes Mill. Uniquely set the Forest of Bowland, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

We incorporated elements of the countryside in the beer pump label illustrations. Plants, animals, and landscapes reminiscent of northern England were illustrated. The designs were rendered with a hand-drawn, wood-cut, textured, printed aesthetic. We also used a limited colour palette. This complemented the bold black and white ink work, ensuring each beer style was easily distinguishable.

Our illustrator crafted personalised beer pump clips with imagery tailored for country pubs, gastro pubs, and upscale venues. We consciously considered the beer's broad appeal across northern England and beyond. By employing relatable artisanal imagery, the design resonates with a diverse audience.

The new seasonal ales beer pump clips complement Bowland Brewery's core range. These have received numerous awards over the years. Our pump clip designs contribute to the brewery's ongoing success and recognition in the industry.
