MA Group Property Claims (MAGPC) has become one of the UK’s leading integrated property services companies. Managing over 200 building contractors, surveyors, contractors, and disaster restoration companies across the UK, they project manage tens of thousands of insurance claims each year.

As a specialist construction marketing agency, GWCM has worked with MAGPC for several years and built up a strong relationship, they approached us with a new challenge to offer their customers (insurance policyholders) a real-time web portal to enable them to track the progress of their claim. This allows policyholders to understand the organisations involved in delivering the agreed outcome for their claim. The policyholder can also see what information is held by MAGPC in managing their claim and to correspond with the suppliers in respect of the claim’s status and timescales. This portal would deliver additional transparency that would increase customer satisfaction and reduce inbound contact to the MAGPC claims centre.

GWCM are also construction branding experts, and having just completed the corporate brand redesign and building of a new MAGPC website, this portal helps MAGPC to build on their integrated, seamless service and enhances the customer journey by delivering additional value to the insurers. It also helps insurance companies to retain their customers through high levels of customer satisfaction. The portal was designed and built mobile-first using HTML, CSS, and PHP to control the JSON formatted data from API’s. GWCM also implemented 2-step authentication and device checks for additional security when logging in to the portal. MAGPC currently has three divisions each operating off the same claims management system.
